Hi, I’m Idan. I’m an IT Cybersecurity specialist passionate about cycling, hiking, trekking, climbing, outdoor video and photography.

My fascination with computers and technology started in my childhood. When I was 13 years old, I joined a computer club where I learned programming and participated in school competitions. That was 1988, the beginning of first-generation Romanian home computers: ICE Felix HC-85, HC90, HC2000, TIM-S, CIP 03, and Cobra. I continued my training in high school where I attended a mathematics-physics profiled class, and later in university, when I specialized in Information Technology.

In 1998 I joined the mountaineering club CETM Albamont from my hometown (Alba Iulia, Romania). After one year, I had enough experience to start hiking on my own and go on adventures with my darling wife. Together we have explored many beautiful and interesting places in Europe and the Middle East.

During my life, I got interested in a variety of subjects: history, archaeology, paleo astronautics, UFO, philosophy, history of religions, esotericism, parapsychology, geography, mountain navigation, electronics, software programming, web development, Linux, cybersecurity, painting, digital photography, video, bicycles and cycling, and more recent, motorcycling.
